Ipomoea tricolor ‘Heavenly Blue’ (seed)

Description

An Ipomoea tricolor variety with electric blue and white flowers. Some Ipomoea species were used traditionally for divination, healing rituals and practices. Many other species were used for a range of medicinal purposes including controlling fever and bleeding, as diuretics, purgatives and for their stimulating effect on the uterus. They are also wonderful ornamental plants with a full range of flower colours, habits and leaf shapes.

Care and Cultivation of Ipomoea tricolor

Ipomoea tricolor seeds germinate quickly at temperatures above 15 degrees Celsius. Seeds will germinate better and more uniformly if soaked in water overnight. Likes a full sun position with access to adequate water.
