Description

Most counties now require a Phytosanitary Certificate to import seed. Countries requiring a Phytosanitary Certificate include but are not limited to:

  • UK
  • EU
  • China
  • Japan
  • USA (Requires only a small seed lot permit which is free from the USDA, but does requires a Phytosanitary Certificate for larger bulk consignments)
  • New Zealand. Generally does not require a Phytosanitary Certificate but some restrictions do apply. Addition help can be found on the MICOR website or the New Zealand Plants Biosecurity Index
  • Korea (Customers do not require a Phytosanitary Certificate providing each species purchased does not exceed 100g)

Please note, this is not a full list of countries requiring a Phytosanitary Certificate and should only be used as a guide.

Customers are of course responsible for checking their import conditions before ordering.

This Phytosanitary Certificate will cover 10 species only, each additional species is an extra $5.

Guidance to your country’s requirements can be found on the MICOR website. Should you have any queries or require any assistance, please contact us via the online form.

Herbalistics does not supply chemically treated seed. As such, we cannot supply seeds that require treatment for importation into your country.

USA Customers:
The United States requires a ‘Small Seed Lot Permit’ to import seeds. This is free and can be completed online by visiting the following link, Small Seed Lot Permit. Once you obtain your permit, please ensure when emailing us your ‘Small Seed Lot Permit’ that you include both the permit, as well as the green and yellow shipping labels. Both of these are required by us to send your order.
