Trichocereus cuzcoensis x T.bridgesii ‘Psycho0’ (cactus)

Description

A cross between a Trichoereus cuzcoensis I grew from seed many years ago (which occasionally throws some variegation, see picture) and the well known T. bridgesii clone ‘Psycho0’. Hybrid seed produced by us here on the Sunshine Coast QLD.

Care and Cultivation of Trichocereus cuzcoensis x T.bridgesii ‘Psycho0’ 

Keep Trichocereus peruvianus in part-shade until large enough to deal with full-sun, which will depend on the increasing exposure you give the cactus. Once established, Trichocereus species can be watered most of the year in all climates, although they will cease to grow or slow right down over winter in colder areas. Fertilise regularly with fish emulsion/seaweed at half strength over the growing season. Osmocote is also useful.
