Delosperma bosseranum (seed)

Description

Delosperma bosseranum is currently used in a similar way to Sceletium species (Kanna/Kougoed), the unfermented dried tuber is used, as well as the fermented whole plant (aerial and underground parts together). It forms a large tuber that can also be raised for effect as a succulent bonsai.

Care and Cultivation of Delosperma bosseranum

Sow Delosperma bosseranum seeds on the surface of a well drained seed raising mix, keeping moist until germination. Likes a full sun position and is tolerant of extreme heat and heavy frost. Extremely drought tolerant due to the water storing capacities of the tuber.
