Citrus australasica – Finger Lime (plant) QLD ONLY!

Description

Finger Limes are an Australian native Citrus, naturally found in rainforest and regrowth in NSW and QLD. Citrus australasica fruit are prized for their unusual finger shaped fruit which contain tiny juice-filled vesicles, looking somewhat like caviar. Several new varieties have been bred in Australia in the last 2 decades; naturally there are yellow, green and red skinned and fleshed varieties. Our stock are generally either green or red skinned seedlings (pictured is Byron Sunrise) and 1-2 years old.

Care and Cultivation of Citrus australasica

Finger lime plants like a full sun to part shade position with adequate moisture and regular fertiliser, just like normal Citrus. Easy to care for and drought hardy once established.
