Description

Capsicum praeterrmissum is a wild species of chilli from Brazil. Flowers have purplish/white petals. Small round fruit which detach easily from the plant when ripe. Heat level 5-7. Common name in Brazil is Cumari.

Care and Cultivation of Capsicum praetermissum

Sow Capsicum praetermissum seed in spring or when warm. in a well drained potting mix in full sun to part shade. Germination time 7-21 days. Growing season is approx. 80 – 120 days. Will take full sun to part-shade. Well drained soil, fertilise regularly over growing season.
