Our mission is to help spread the cultivation and propagation of all plants used by humans for medicine, food, inspiration and enjoyment, whilst instilling and encouraging in all of us a need to conserve our wild habitats for future evolution and as a refuge for other species. The world is not ours alone.
Herbalistics uses locally produced and sustainable materials, both in the office and nursery, as much as possible. Packaging is kept to a minimum (are you more interested in flashy, wasteful packaging than the product inside?). Recycled materials are used whenever and wherever possible when packing your order.
Inorganic fertilisers, herbicides and fungicides are used at an absolute minimum; we follow organic standards as closely as possible. We enrich the soil with fungi and bacteria species to encourage symbiosis with plant roots (leading to a better uptake and utilisation of both water and nutrients) and to feed and activate a biologically active substrate matrix.
Herbalistics supports a number of environmental funds and groups. Our favourite is Bush Heritage Australia, click here to visit Bush Heritage Australia.
Our manager Darren has a degree in Environmental Science and years of bush regeneration, seed collecting and propagation experience. Sustainability is at the forefront of what Herbalistics is about. Growing food and medicine in your garden is the best thing you can do for the health of your family and the Earth in our modern world at the present time.
