Trichocereus ‘HB07’ x JG x (T. pachanoi x SS02) (cactus)

Description

A cross between HB07 (a Herbalistics selection from a batch of Trichocereus bridgesii ‘Psycho0’ x ‘Super Pedro’ seedlings which is a lovely blue and lightly spined clone which displays melted/semi-monstrose growth at times) and the rather long mouthful of Juul’s Giant x (T. pachanoi x SS02), a hybrid grown by us from Sacred Succulents seed over a decade ago. Should be some interesting seedlings in these seeds. Hybrid seed produced by us here on the Sunshine Coast QLD.

Care and Cultivation of Trichocereus ‘HB07′ x JG x (T. pachanoi x SS02)

Keep cacti in part-shade until large enough to deal with full-sun, which will depend on the increasing exposure you give the cactus. Once established, Trichocereus species can be watered most of the year in all climates, although they will cease to grow or slow right down over winter in colder areas. Fertilise regularly with fish emulsion/seaweed at half strength over the growing season.
