Description

Trichocereus bridgesii is a South American columnar cactus species from Bolivia (La Paz). The monstrose cultivar is a mutation which results in short segmented growth that can only be propagated by vegetative means. TBMC is a cristate variation of TBM, poroducing crest growth but sometimes reverting to TBM growth. Commonly named for its curious resemblance to a penis. Often highly regarded traditionally as a sacramental medicine. Colloquially known by its acronym, TBMC.
