Description

Scutellaria is a genus of approximately 300 species of annuals and perennials. Scutellaria humilis is a slender creeping ground cover, native to eastern states of Australia, from Qld to Tas.

The dried herb has been reported as being a good smoking herb. Several bioassays have found this species to be active and pleasant, similar to and even better than Scutellaria nana.

Care and Cultivation of Scutellaria humilis

Scutellaria humilis seeds can be sown between Spring-Autumn just below the surface of a good potting mix, in part shade to full sun. Separate and pot on when crowding occurs. Likes a part shade position, relatively tolerant of most conditions.
