Sarcozona praecox is a creeping succulent native to inland parts of NSW, SA and WA. Has potential as a native succulent drought tolerant landscaping groundcover. Purple flowers in spring/summer. Fruit may be edible.

Care and Cultivation

Sow Sarcozona praecox seed on the surface of a sandy well drained and aerated potting mix. Be careful not to wash seeds out when watering in. Transplant once seedlings begin crowding each other. Drought hardy, attractive groundcover.
