Diplotaxis tenuifolia or Wild Rocket is native to Europe and Western Asia but is now found throughout much of the temperate world where it has naturalised. Biennial culinary green which is an excellent addition to salads in place of normal rocket/arugula. Appetite stimulant and digestive. Seeds yield an edible oil. Full sun to part shade, copious water and rich soil make the best tasting green leafies.

Care and Cultivation Sow seed in spring/summer or all year round in warm climates. Full-sun position. Well-drained rich soil will give large plants with many flower heads. Pinch out seed heads to encourage more foliage.
