Description

Diplocyclos palmatus is an Australian native climber in the Cucurbitaceae family. This plant also occurs in Africa and Asia. Attractive 3-5cm red and white striped fruits which are used medicinally in India. An attractive ornamental vine. Not edible though may have medicinal properties!

Care and Cultivation of Diplocyclos palmatus

Diplocyclos palmatus seeds can be germinated easily. Sow their own depth in potting mix or straight into the garden. Should be treated as an annual but can survive several years in a good position. Requires full sun.
