Description

Our new chilli cultivar, the Bli Bli Trompeno, is a stabilised cross between Aji Trompito x Jalapeño, produced by Darren @ Herbalistics. Stabilised for 6 generations with enough variation to make it adaptable to most growing climates. Performs well in subtropics and tropical areas. Heat similar to a Jalapeno with excellent disease and pest resistance. Produces an abundance of red bullet shaped fruit all year; fruit are fleshy and seeds are easily removed. Makes a great fermented or cooked hot sauce or used fresh.

Care and Cultivation of Bli Bli Trompeno

Bli Bli Trompeno seeds should be sown just under the surface of a good quality seed raising mix in part shade to full sun. Keep moist until germination in 7-21 days. Prefers full to part sun and adequate moisture. Short lived perennial in most areas. Generally grows 1m tall with a similar spread. Responds well to pruning.
