Blue Lotus Extract (Nymphaea caerulea) 1g

Out of stock

The essence of Nymphaea caerulea flowers has been extracted and then added to aromatic Australian grown Damiana (Turnera diffusa). Extremely fragrant. There is evidence that Nymphaea may have been employed as an hallucinogen in both the Old and New Worlds (Plants of the Gods, Schultes and Hofmann, 1992). Blue Lotus extracts have traditionally been either dissolved in wine or smoked for their relaxing effects, also burned by some as an incense. Technically called Blue Waterlily, Lotus refers to Nelumbo spp.

Tea from this is quite bitter, but some honey easily rectifies this. A little too harsh to smoke any large amount. 1gm will give you a nice opiod-like relaxedness.

I have smoked and eaten this. Very subtle; a sort of glowing feeling afterwards; would be ideal to augment with another ingredient perhaps. In my case I was inspired to write about my experience on a popular forum.
