Duboisia hybrid leaf comparison
Below is a picture of 3 Duboisia leaves, on the left, Duboisia myoporoides, D. hopwoodii X myoporoides in the centre and D. hopwoodii on the right. As you can see the hybrid is central in features between the two species, and has the fine dust like coating of D. hopwoodii. Preliminary results of chemical tests on F1 suggests minimal nicotine in the hybrid. The central leaf is from an F2 seedling.
