Trichocereus terscheckii (cactus)
A Trichocereus species from northern Argentina, South America. Upright columnar cactus becoming treelike with age, often grown in landscaping as a faster alternative to the Saguaro. Used for divination purposes.
Care and Cultivation of Trichocereus terscheckii
Keep in part-shade until large enough to deal with full-sun. Once established, Trichocereus species can be watered most of the year in all climates. Trichocereus terscheckii has an immature globular phase for the first 3-5 years, becoming tall after this phase.
