Trichocereus scopulicola is a South American columnar cactus species, scopulicola is thought to mean ‘living among rocks’ or similar. Often called T. scopulicolus. Has small spines when young but these become absent or recessed with age, being totally spinelss. Often used as a sacramental medicine and makes a good grafting stock.
Care and Cultivation Keep in part-shade until large enough to deal with full-sun. Once established, Trichocereus species can be watered most of the year in all climates. Fertilise moderately over the growing period. Info on how to plant your cutting comes on the care sheet included with your order.
