Description

Trichocereus are South American cacti with many being used traditionally for divining purposes. Hybridisation occurs readily as individuals do not or very rarely self-pollinate. An upright species to 6 metres tall.

The clone HB02 is a Herbalistics selection from a batch of Trichocereus ‘Super Pedro’ x ‘Psycho0’ seedlings. Very attractive with a glaucous/blue skin in most situations, good disease resistance, fast growing and hardy in most climates. A sister of HB05.

Care and Cultivation of Trichocereus HB02

Keep in part-shade until large enough to deal with full-sun, which will depend on the increasing exposure you give the cactus. Once established, Trichocereus species can be watered most of the year in all climates, although they will cease to grow or slow right down over winter in colder areas. Fertilise regularly with fish emulsion/seaweed at half strength over the growing season.

Fast delivery & well packaged. My first cactus from Herbalistics, cutting looks very nice, looking forward to planting it. I have many Trichocereus cacti & this would have to be the most attractive type of cutting I have received. Looking forward to ordering many more. Thankyou Herbalistics, your work is much appreciated.
